didn't initiate the contact. This includes emails with links. Never
be intimidated by the email or caller. If the contact is legitimate
they will never threaten you.

click on the link provided in an email. Always go directly to the
website directly through your internet browser.

If you
use a public computer, never save passwords or user id's. If others
use your home computer, consider using the same approach.

If you
suspect you may have become a victim, contact you bank and one of
the three major credit bureaus: equifax.com, experian.com, or
transunion.com

can report questionable emails at ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/idtheft/
or your local law enforcement agency.
